Fawn Workman, NP provides psychiatric and obesity care and medication management. She is board certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner (since 2014) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (since 2018). Fawn started her healthcare career as a registered nurse in 1999, and has been acquanted with a variety of experiences throughout inpatient, ER, urgent care and office/ specialty work in her career- cradle to end of life.
At Lifesong Health, Fawn enjoys her work with individuals seeking help with a variety of mental health concerns or struggles with weight. Her patients are primarily adults, and while some live in the Forest/ Lynchburg area (and may choose to see her in-person or by video), many also see her by telehealth all across the state.
Fawn is a lifelong learner, currently studying and working towards certificates in integrative psychiatry and Obesity specialization. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Obesity Medicine Association, the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, to name a few.
Patients and colleagues have described Fawn as a thorough care provider, and empathetic and supportive listener.
